


	Repair Services Phonographs are valuable pieces of history that provide us with hours of entertainment. Through years of use (and sometimes abuse) mechanical problems can arise. Services Offered Note: Housecalls available! Pickup and delivery service is available in and between the San Francisco and Monterey Bay Areas. Motors and reproducers may be shipped for service. Please contact us for details. Reproducer (Sound Head) Reconditioning: $25 The reproducer will be evaluated for the quality of sound reproduction that it provides. Servicing includes new seals and gaskets. Reproducer (Sound Head) Repair: $25 and up (depending on the type of reproducer) The reproducer will be evaluated for the quality of sound reproduction that it provides. Servicing includes new seals and gaskets. Missing or broken parts will be repaired or replaced and a new diaphram installed if needed. Motor Servicing and Spring Cleaning: $40 for a Single Spring Motor $20 for each Additional Spring Motors will be inspected, cleaned, and tested. The spring will be removed, inspected, cleaned, and lubricated. Motor gears and bearings will be lubricated and the motor's speed will be calibrated. Spring Repair/Replacement: Motor springs are individual to each manufacturer. The cost of spring repair can vary and normally run from $65 and up depending on the spring required. A discount will be given for additional springs repaired/replaced at the original time of service. Refinishing/Case Repair: Please Inquire Often cases show their years in the appearance of their original finish. In addition, scratches, damaged speaker cloth, and missing case parts can detract from the beauty of these fascinating instruments.
